Isatis Project:
3 Ice Rinks Complex

This ambitious project involved designing and installing a refrigeration system for three sports facilities, including ice rinks, training centers, shops, and restaurants. The project required the use of natural refrigerants and optimal energy recovery to make the complex fully self-sufficient for heating and hot water supply.

To exceed expectations, we proposed an innovative solution: replacing the second glycol loop beneath the ice rinks with pumped liquid CO2 from the compressors. This approach ensured exceptional ice quality, highly appreciated by both line painters and NHL players.
