Your mandate

We’re looking for a multi-skilled person to maintain tooling, clean work areas and manage production and logistics tasks. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the equipment is in good working order, that the premises are clean and that shipments comply with regulations. This position requires thoroughness, autonomy and the ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The proposed challenges

  • Maintain production tooling;
  • Maintain good lubricant level;
  • Clean tools;
  • Perform a visual inspection of equipment;
  • Check tooling anomalies with the manager;
  • Keep extension cords in good condition;
  • Clean up work areas;
  • Remove waste from the workplace every day;
  • Keep the building exterior safe;
  • Return work equipment to its proper place;
  • Sweep to keep the workshop clean;
  • Recycle cardboard and other waste and put it in the right place;
  • Clean the exterior if necessary, at the director’s request;
  • Receiving/shipping;
  • Receive merchandise delivered to the door;
  • Prepare and pack shipments;
  • Check the packaging before the departure of a unit (pack) and ensure its conformity;
  • Production;
  • Cut to required lengths;
  • Help a worker when needed;
  • Meticulous paint application;
  • Support OEM as needed;
  • Inspect overhead cranes;
  • Inspect the forklift;
  • Forklift and overhead crane operation;
  • Monitor the workshop’s turnover, in collaboration with the manager, to ensure there is enough space to carry out new projects;
  • Other – All related tasks.

Required profile

Are you the person we’re looking for?

  • High school diploma (an asset);
  • Fluency in spoken and written French;
  • You’re a self-starter, resourceful, manually dexterous, precise and meticulous, and you manage your time and priorities well;
